INTRODUCTION
Rapid take-up of XPFC means that we've got to make sure that everyone is kept fully updated. And perhaps even more importantly it's essential that the XPFC developers are aware of your comments and needs.

We've been listening to all your suggestions and requests for XPFC information, and we've put a lot of planning and thought into creating this site.

We've designed our site to be as easy, fast, and as straightforward to use as possible. We've resisted the temptation to include fancy graphics everywhere on the grounds that lengthy downloads don't please too many folk when you're keen to get quickly to the facts.

We've also taken a lot of trouble to make sure that our Web pages work well on ALL the common browsers, we've targeted a level of HTML that's comfortably supported by MS IE3 and Netscape Navigator 3, so there shouldn't be any "Poor Relations" out there. If you have a problem with any of our pages, or they just look weird, then PLEASE tell us so we can do something about it. ........ We won't know unless you do !

NAVIGATING THIS SITE
Our aim is to make it as intuitive as possible to access the large amount of information on this site.

At the top of every page you will find the main menu, you can jump straight to the required item with one click of your mouse button.

On the left of every page is a menu which will allow you to see quickly see the content of that page and jump to items with one click of you mouse button. You will also see the following icons for quick navigation ....... Don't click them now, they're only examples!

The main index page is your normal starting place, from there you may quickly jump to your required source of information.

DOWNLOADS
All files offered for download are now supplied in self-extracting .zip file format. Once you have downloaded the required .exe file, run it and after an initial welcome box, you will be presented with a dialog box similar to the following;

FAST FIND
Checkout this new feature that we've now built into the site ...... you can still navigate using the normal methods .... but this new feature allows you to trawl thru the index and go directly to pages that interest you ........ You can even use BOTH the old and this new method ...... YOU decide ! .........

The new Fast Find feature is simple and effective ..... it's similar to the Windows Help facility ....... whenever you click on a subject in the index selection list ...... You will be taken straight to that section. Fast find is available from the menu at the top of each page.
