THE XPFC WEB SITEINTRODUCTION We've been listening to all your suggestions and requests for XPFC information, and we've put a lot of planning and thought into creating this site. We've designed our site to be as easy, fast, and as straightforward to use as possible. We've resisted the temptation to include fancy graphics everywhere on the grounds that lengthy downloads don't please too many folk when you're keen to get quickly to the facts. We've also taken a lot of trouble to make sure that our Web pages work well on ALL the common browsers, we've targeted a level of HTML that's comfortably supported by MS IE3 and Netscape Navigator 3, so there shouldn't be any "Poor Relations" out there. If you have a problem with any of our pages, or they just look weird, then PLEASE tell us so we can do something about it. ......... We won't know unless you do ! SITE AIMS AND
CONSTRUCTION Your comments and feedback have been MOST encouraging ..... even some of the "moans & groans" and criticisms were justified ! ......... and we've registered them all. This "Mark 3" build of the www.xpfc.com website has been planned for some time ...... mainly to improve the navigation ...... but also to make it a "more comfortable place to be". Sadly, our aims and plans for www.xpfc.com exceeded our own capabilities and skills .... so we called in some experts ...... GT Media Services ..... and we've been working closely with them on this major website revision and re-design. Simon Preston remains webmaster at www.xpfc.com ....... but now relies on his "experts" at GT Media Services ...... continue to contact Simon on all www.xpfc.com matters. We're very pleased with this "Mk 3" version of the website ....... and we hope you will be too ........ It's faster, slicker, and easier to navigate ...... and CONSISTENT across both Internet Explorer and Netscape ...... easier said than done ! We've retained GT Media Services for future "Greater Things" .... Standby ! Click here to visit GT Media's own website ........................ |
